The following end-of-season wedding dress samples are available to purchase. We will clean the dress for you once purchased & altered, to ensure your beautiful sample purchase is aisle-ready.
HOW IT WORKS:
- I’ve put together this post to make pre-browsing easier. Don’t hesitate reaching out via email if you would like more information on any of these items.
- Of course you are more than welcome to come and try them on. In fact, it is encouraged, to see if it is a fit for your personality & style & measurements. You can schedule an hour fitting appointment at a R390 consultation fee.
- The R390 consultation fee is payable via EFT before the appointment.
- These dresses are sold as-is.
- The purchase price exclude alterations.
- A purchase (sale of a dress) is final and are to be paid in full, at the price as stated below, per dress. These prices are final and no further price reductions / discounts will be negotiated.
- General t’s & c’s apply, as per the quotation that will be provided for the dress you are interested in purchasing.
ALTERATIONS:
These samples are made according to my standard bridal size chart, so they are not tailor made / made according to personal measurements. Therefore, some alterations may be required.
Alterations are not my speciality and does not form part of my regular design offering, however the following basic alterations will be offered on these sample dresses. Therefore, kindly note, the alterations on offer will only apply to the purchase of one of these dresses and not any other dress of any shape or form.
A quotation will be provided for the required alterations and payment are to be made in full, up-front, before any alterations commence:
- Hemming: These hems are standard length and will most likely require altering. Average hems (fitted dresses / chiffon layered skirts) from R795 – R995+.
- Hems with horsehair braid will be from R995 – R1 495+ (This type of hem is found on the Charlie removable skirt & the Maddison dress).
- Shortening of straps: from R295 – R395+.
- Basic alterations to a waist where no lace detail is involved (taken in): from R795 – R995+
- Basic alterations to a waist (taken in) where lace applique detail are to be un-picked & re-sewn (the lace work is sewn by hand): from R995 – R1 495+.
- Additional buttons to the end of the zip: from R795+.
- Additional buttons to the end of the train: from R1 295 – R1 795+.
- All dresses have a loop at the hem for dancing. Should you however require an additional ‘pick-up’ / bustle it will be quoted for separately (you can expect from R350 – R450+ depending on the type of bustle).
- Any additional accessories and details will be quoted and invoiced separately.
