I’ve always wanted to make a dress for a Kennedy. There, I said it out loud, hah-hah. In all seriousness though, Courtney (Kennedy)’s dress was one for the books. And Misha Lee Photography out did herself as usual capturing all the special elements and moments as perfectly as only she can.

A true niche, which has grown into a super skill of mine, is working with brides based all over the world & SA. What began out of necessity during a time when most things were forced to be online, has become one of the biggest avenues of my craft and business. After JHB based bride Courtney’s mom contacted me, we scheduled an online call, I received her measurements and got to work. Although I often have to work without fittings, Courtney’s dress transpired within 2 fittings into the absolute work of art it ended up being.

Never forget though, that although I apply much of myself, my skill & talent into the process and product, it is the client, the bride, who makes the ‘art’ come alive. Without the woman inside the dress, it remains a beautiful piece of cloth on a hanger.
