Our beautiful Netherlands based bride Lotte, customized her Maryke bridal gown with a statement bow. She fell in love with our elegant satin Tara wedding dress from the moment she stepped into it, and as her initial fitting appointment progressed, we discussed the customization options that would bring her vision to life.

As the structured bow and detailed veil were the two elements she desired most for her wedding dress, the simple elegance of her chosen design complimented these beautifully. In addition, we used a bold, exquisitely beaded lace for the applique detail on her 3m long veil.

Then, customary to the process of working with our brides who are based abroad, progress photos were sent once her dress went into production.  Generally we have to complete wedding the dresses of our out-of-town brides in a short space of time, and Lotte’s were no different; we had a fitting only 9 days prior to her wedding. Thereafter a final fitting & collection was scheduled for the following week.

Also, Lotte & Khaya’s faith in God is at the heart of their relationship and it shone through on their wedding day, so beautifully captured by one of our favourite photographers, Cheney from Blissfully Yours Photography.
