This wedding dress was one of those where I just knew from the moment we had the first fitting that it was going to be just perfect for Lisa. Not everybody can pull off a look like this, but because it was so true to who she is (and her every day dress style), this bride and her full lace, empire style wedding dress with lace sleeves was a match made in heaven.
Lisa chose a gorgeous off-white vintage look lace with a slightly darker shade of satin underneath. The darker shade of the satin enhanced the beauty of this corded lace. the style was simple, elegant & very flattering on her. The lower V-neckline added a hint of sexy to this wedding dress, which might have otherwise looked matronly.
Then, the showstopper: the cathedral length veil, with applique lace border. Each motif was cut out by hand & then individually pinned & stitched on by hand also. Phew, hours of stitching later; a stunning result that was so well worth every second of it!
I have to hand it to everybody who has helped Lisa complete her look: from hair, make-up, decor to especially the photography. Her essence has truly been captured on her most special day!
