Sarah-Faye’s wedding dress has all the elements I personally love in a gown – beaded detail, sparkle, sprigs of lace appliqués and layer upon romantic layer of tulle. Basically, if I had to re-do my own wedding dress at this point in time, this is very close to what it would look like.

Sarah-Faye has been to my studio on a few occasions with friends whose wedding dresses I have made. So when it came to making her wedding dress for her we’ve already built a relationship with each other which made it extra special to design and make her most special dress. The thing I appreciated most about Sarah-Faye is that although she’s a creative person herself, she trusted my judgement and allowed me to get on with the process of making her wedding dress.

This amazingly beautiful bride and her wedding dress featured a fully beaded lace bodice (filled out with matt sequins and pearlessant seed beads) with beautiful cross-over tulle detail at the centre front. The skirt were made from layers of tulle enhanced with the most exquisite lace appliqués featuring three dimensional chiffon flowers with sparkle detail.

This wedding dress definitely fit the profile of the Romantic Bride.
